A Snowy Week

Dearest Dosts,
We have snow now everywhere in Istanbul. "It is good for health," used to say our grandparents about snow, "It kills germs". Hoping this, I never complained about the coldness of snow. Furthermore, I felt happy for seeing dusty, black raods covered with clean, white blanket. For the hungry birds, I always put some bread to my balcony to feed them. I will share some photos with you about it.
Our Nepal visit for 3-5 November 2010, has started keeping our minds busy. We would like to participate in the 13. ICSQCC but on the other hand, under these financial difficulties we try to find our way out.
In April, the 15th Annual Conference of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies will be held in Istanbul. The registrations go on. On 8-9-10 April, one groups of Counselling students from The State University of North Florida will be with us and then another team from NYIT will be sharing their experiences with us during the summer school period. I believe they will be very beneficial for all, in addition to giving fun.
This year I have been working within the City Council of Sarıyer (is the Black Sea coast of European Istanbul where I live) as the Education Facilitator of the Leading Committee. We will try hard to mae a better educational profile within our city. There will be seminars and projecst for teachers, students, the challenged and the public. ICT part is also very important for us to motivate the creative and innovative minds.
Our ICT Seagulls project reached at 45 Project circles. We are very proud of our students and teachers. We wish them good luck with their Arts_based projects. I would like to end today's sharing with love and peace...
