Keynotes & Special Addresses

Deal Colleagues,
Almost every message of mine is related to the 11th Convention, isn't it? It is apparently clear what keeps me busy for months... Next to sorrows, we witness happy events also. This is the essence of life. Last time I had commemorated Dearest Mrs. Silva and now I might mention about the engagement ceremony of my daughter. We should be grateful to god for sending us not only bad ones.
I would like to mention about the developments concerning the 11th International Convention. This summer passes by very hot in Istanbul. In spite of this difficulty we have a wonderful team focusing on every detail of the event. My colleagues who are seen in the photo are challenging to the unbearable hot days of July and trying to do the best for our honorary guests who will come from more than ten countries. The fun and animation part of the organization is under the control of our young friend Tayfun Bırakoğlu & his wonderful team belonging to the Club LectureHouse of Yeditepe University. Other two friends are the most hardworking teachers of Kalbemer; Nilüfer and Mehmet. I would like to thank to all my team members who work hard to make this event meaningful for ther participants. It is a real Turkish İmece! :)
During the convention there will be three main types of activity:
1. Circles and competitions,

Our Great Loss: "Nelum De Silva"

Dear All,
I have learned with a great sorrow that our lovely, always-smiling and motivating, dearest sister Nelum passed away yesterday morning.
She was an angel sent to hug all the humanity. She had such a big heart for all of us!
We, as the Turkish family of her, share the pain of this great loss with her lovely family and all her close friends. Our prayers will be for De Silva family. I am sure she had taken her place in Heaven. I hope God provide strength and courage to her family to overcome this great loss.
As the Convenor of the 11th ICSQCC, I propose giving a new “Award” within the ICSQCC to her name.
Best regards,
Dr.Hayal KÖKSAL

We have just completed its 5th year. 37 project teams belonging to university, high school, primary school and NGO categories completed their project processes and placed their steps on their web addresses. Those web addresses first of all evaluated by us_Kalbe mer_ then by the peers and then by the judges. 10 different criteria were used for it. Now we know that 13 teams got "2nd Best Award"s and 24 of the "1st Best Awards". The awards of those teams will be given during the Award Ceremony of the 11th ICSQCC. They will also have had the chance of participating in different Streams of the above mentioned event. If you would like to learn more about them, please visit: http://www.bilisimcimartilar.com/ address. The page is in Turkish but do not step back! Please enter: "Değerlendirme (Assessment & Results)" from the Main menu and then enter all categories one by one.
