Recent Developments

Dear All,
After lovely and fruitful India Days, we have been witnessing busy days of ICT Seagulls Project. Our visits to schools, awareness seminars and trainings and founding SQCs keep us very busy as usual. Last week we were at the Forestry faculty of Istanbul University and then in Velimeşe, Tekirdağ to start the ICT Seagulls projects. Up to now Işıkkent Schools from Izmir, Çiçekli Bahçe Pre-school from Sarıyer, 3 circles from Forestry Faculty and 13 Circles were founded in Tekirdağ. The photos are from the University and Velimeşe secondary school. We also look forward to seeing the International circles. The deadline is on 30th December.
On 16th December, we will host two lovely persons in my Course (Innovative Teaching) at Boğaziçi University. The president of a Disabled Association (http://www.bedd.org.tr/) Mr. Kemal Demirel and a very well-known film actor Mr. Ediz Hun (He is also an advisor of the NGO and a biologist) will be panelists about the empowerment of the challenged students within Türkiye.
I hope you have a nice week. Lots of love...

India, 11. ICSQCC Event Ends

Dear All,
We were in Lucknow, India between 2-6 December, 2009 to participate in 12. ICSQCC. It was a wonderful experience. We were honoured with the International ICT Seagulls Award Ceremony, for the President of Mauritius_The Right Honourable Sir Anerood Jugnauth and the Mayor of Lucknow presented the awards and certificates of the three ICT Seagullls Circles. They were the "Wings" of Little Angels High School and two teams of City Montessory School (Road Map and Helen Keller) which were about the challenged students. I am grateful to Dr. Vineeta Kamran and her wonderful team for this mega event. I have also been proudful with the existence of Sivas team, guided by the Principal Mrs. Solmaz Sezen. I have been waiting for the new registrations of the 7th ICT Seagulls Projects from international participants. Lots of love,
