Another Great Loss from WCTQEE

Dear All,
We have been fully socked to learn about the sad news of Ranjith Goonatilake, the Director General of Sri lanka in WCTQEE after the great sorrows of Nelum de Silva and Adreas Plozenke in previous years. It is very difficult to find any word to express my own feelings on the news. I know we have to bear this loss, although it is very difficult. The photo on the right was taken during the opening ceremony of 14. ICSQCC on the 1st December, 2011. Our prayers are with him and also with Chandrika, his family, his students and all dosts for giving enough strength to bear this loss. He will be always in our heart and soul.
I share the message coming from Dr. Vineeta Kamran, the executive director of WCTQEE.
With kind regards...

14. ICSQCC in CMS, Lucknow, INDIA

Dearest Dosts,
We have had a wonderful 5 days in CMS, Lucknow, India. I believe all the participants have been thinking the same. Days and nights there are always full of love, respect, peace and collaboration. These feelings always renew the participants. This time the same thing happened to me. I feel much more energetic, happy and full of love towards everything. Whatever they do in school to train peaceful and fruitful future leaders as the teachers and administrators, they do the same to all and we come back our homes with peaceful hearts and feelings. Thanks to Dr. Gandhis and thanks to Dr. Kamran. I also thank to WCTQEE members.
I wish you all  Merry Christmas and a Happy new Year.

A LEADER SCHOOL: CMS

Dear All,
After a week-India Tour I am back again. With 4 academicians, 2 High School administrators and 2 university students, we have gained a lot of experience and initiative concerning the quality-focused system of City Montessori School, Lucknow, India. Even though it was my fifth visit, I felt a great happiness due to the great change  in the airport of New Delhi, in the city of Lucknow and within the school itself.
India is really improving a lot and it is certain that in the near future that crowded incredible country will have signed to various big changes and reforms in the area. First of all; they are very optimistic. Anger, hatred and violence are rarely-even never-seen there. They are all helpful and supportive. they give importance to females. Many top managers are women and their wisdom and revolutionary spirits are noticed in the city easily. They seem to have developed their approach to the education. they use Quality Management and SQC= Students' Quality Circles in every single step. Empowerment at the higest level in every field. Trust is the essence of it. They use technology well, however time management shows a little bit problem in some fields. Villages and villagers are empowered as well. Their agriculture has been improving a lot.
The World Council for Total Quality & excellence in Education (WCTQEE) was held there with 25 members and some decisions were made. on May 2012, the 15th ICSQCC will take place in mauritius. London, Kingston University will be the host in 2014. All the member countries work hard. In Turkey, we will go on publicising the İmece Circles movement to teach the youngesters to teach "critical thinking and problem solving" skills. We will prepare a new web page for the Turkey Chapter of WCTQEE.
The award distribution of 2011 ICT Seagulls Project with the support of WCTQEE and CMS family. Students from Nepal, UK and Turkey had their awards and certificates. Until the end of December, the registrations for the 2012 ICT Seagulls Projects will go on. We hope more and more schools will be with us in the new year. I would like to send my thanks and gratitudes to Dr. Kamran, Dr. Gandhi (Above photo) and all WC members including my new dost Mrs. Neetu Kapoor (who is in the below photo), the principals of G.D.Goenka Public School, India.
Wait for more messages from India.  JAI JAGAT!
